Overview

Networks of computers are omnipresent, and time synchronization is highly recommended across all enterprises to ensure that diversified systems operate in unison. A reliable time synchronization system improves overall system effectiveness and greatly simplifies troubleshooting during fault analysis by providing accurate and consistent time stamps across the network. The Sertel NTP Time Server acts as a Stratum 0 time source, generating precise time signals to synchronize networks of critical devices such as servers, SCADA, DCS, PLCs, LANs, computer buses, RTUs, and other electrical and communication systems. The system also supports secure file transfer using SFTP over SSH.

Equipped with a high-precision, high-stability internal Rubidium Oscillator, the time server delivers exceptional frequency accuracy in the order of 0.1 PPB, while GPS-based time synchronization maintains accuracy better than 15 ns. Modern devices can receive external IRIG-B (AM) input via BNC connectors and NTP over RJ45 interfaces, enabling seamless integration across large networks. Time stamps can be transmitted over long distances while maintaining synchronization throughout the network, and the system is further enhanced with built-in protection against jamming and spoofing attacks.
