Time Synchronisation using telecommunications backhaul as redundant source of time. Sources with L1/L2/L5 bands of communication through various sources act as prevention from rick of GNSS spoofing and Jamming. Sertel’s GNSS solutions offers a range of products that have been designed and built for GNSS redundancy in mind. All products have built in redundancy to acquire satellite information from various GNSS sources added with backhaul local oscillators which can provide a high precision holdover limits.

Transmission & Distribution operators always observe that due to various reasons Time Signals such as NTP/SNTP do not provide them accurate sequence of event monitoring due to issues with settings, network latencies.
Similarly it is also observed that effect of transient in low voltage unbalanced IRIGB Signals has always lead to corruption in time signals synchronising Protection & Control devices in Station Bus, Process Bus.

Sertel’s products are bare metal stacks driven with a completely customised Sertel OS working on highly time critical time ticks. This has always guaranteed Reliable and Secure time dissemination to all IEDs to utmost accuracy.
Our Ethernet based solution is highly customised for time critical application with maximum throughput.
Our Isolated Timing Repeater with Isolated and balanced TTL outputs or Multimode fiber outputs can connect to Protection and Control IED’s. This prevents the formation of ground loops, mitigating against transients and induced voltage, and ensuring transients affecting one IED do not propagate to other IED’s connected to the same bus. In addition to distributing TTL or unmodulated IRIG-B over fiber, the Isolated Timing repeater can also convert to AM IRIG-B at the same time. The Combination of Tekron’s Clocks and Isolated Timing Repeaters also typically simplifies and reduces IRIG-B cabling and allows for future expansion of the IRIG-B bus with minimal disruption.
