CHALLENGE: CYBERSECURITY – NETWORK SYNCHRONISATION OF ICT INFRASTRUCTURE

As per CERT Government Guidelines, all service providers, intermediaries, data centers, body corporate and Government organisations shall mandatorily enable logs of all their ICT systems and maintain them securely with time stamp data connect to the Network Time Protocol (NTP) Server of National Informatics Centre (NIC) or National Physical Laboratory (NPL) or with NTP servers traceable to these NTP servers, for synchronisation of all their ICT systems clocks. Entities having ICT infrastructure spanning multiple geographies may also use accurate and standard time source other than NPL and NIC, however it is to be ensured that their time source shall not deviate from NPL and NIC.
All companies and enterprises will mandatorily have to report all cyber incidents to the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In)

SOLUTION: NTP/PTP SERVERS – RUBIDIUM/OCXO/TCXO BASED MASTER CLOCK TIME SYNC SERVER

Sertel PTP/NTP Servers uses GNSS Based Multi-constellation satellite based time source. Sertel PTP/NTP Servers time source is better than NPL & NIC and shall not deviate from NPL & NIC time source.

Sertel PTP/NTP Servers are GNSS based multi-constellation time sources apart from GPS, it receives satellite data from GLONASS, Indian IRNSS, Galileo etc.for a far more accurate time source with GNSS disciplined oscillators, OCXO crystal oscillators for better time keeping at the source level with latest technology upgrades. Sertel can carryout upgradation in the existing GPS Time Server to Multi-constellation GNSS Receivers.

1. T-GPS-300-NTPS-XX is a multi constellation GNSS reception based clock with options of Highly Stable oscillators such as Rubidium, GNSS Disciplined Oscillators OCXO, TCXO and VCXO solutions for stable holdovers.

2. T-SC-300-NTPS-XX is protocol multiplier which multiplies NTP ports with unique MAC Address, Unique IP address and completely Isolated Network hardware.

3.T-GPS-300-PTP-DO provides both NTP, PTP with onboard GNSS Disciplined oscillators with SYNCE optional

4. T-GPS-300-PTP-OCX provides both NTP, PTP, IRIGB, ITU standard Frequency Outputs with onboard OCXO with very high holdover timings.

Our NTP Servers depending on the market segment and cost requirements are capable of handling complex network architectures, gauranteeing security & time reliability.

With features such as data logging, NMS interface with Sertel’s own UID , any number of Sertel devices can be easily spotted through any SNMP manager, various parameters can be monitored for the health of the System. Periodic Traps are also provided indicating the Status of the device for Network forensics and post morterm analysis. Syslogs are also sent indicating the required state changes of the device and its outputs accordingly.
