Our certifications

Sertel Electronics designs, manufactures and services GPS and satellite based time management systems, weather monitoring instrumentation, alarm annunciators and industrial control panels that run inside power plants, defence installations, airports, railways and meteorological stations across India. The certifications below confirm that our quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems, along with our in-house R&D capability, are independently assessed and continuously monitored against recognised national and international standards.

ISO 9001:2015 - Quality Management Systems

Our ISO 9001:2015 certification confirms that the design, development, manufacturing, testing, installation and servicing of our GPS timing systems, temperature controllers, VFD panels, alarm annunciators, protocol communication equipment, signal multipliers, isolators and furnace camera systems follow a documented and independently audited quality management system.

Scope of Certification: The certification covers the design and development, manufacturing, testing, installation and servicing of GPS and satellite-based time management systems, temperature controllers, recorders and sensors, variable frequency drive panels, alarm annunciators, protocol communication equipment, signal multipliers and isolators.

ISO 14001:2015 - Environmental Management Systems

ISO 14001:2015 certifies that our environmental management practices across the design, manufacturing, testing, installation and servicing of GPS timing systems and industrial control equipment meet recognised international standards for responsible and sustainable operations.

Scope of Certification: This certification covers the design and development, manufacturing, testing, installation and servicing of GPS and satellite time management systems, instrumentation, and industrial communication equipment under environmental compliance procedures.

ISO 45001:2018 - Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems

Our ISO 45001:2018 certification extends to the design, manufacturing, testing, installation and servicing of our complete instrumentation range, including weather monitoring systems, automatic weather stations and upper air sounding systems such as radiosondes, pilotsondes and ground receiving systems, confirming that worker health and safety is built into every stage of production.

Scope of Certification: The certification covers the design and development, manufacturing, testing, installation and servicing of GPS and satellite based time management systems, temperature controllers, recorders and sensors, VFD panels, alarm annunciators, protocol communication equipment, signal multipliers and isolators, furnace camera systems, and weather monitoring systems including automatic weather stations and upper air sounding systems.

DSIR Recognition - In-House R&D Unit

The Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, under the Government of India's Ministry of Science and Technology, has renewed recognition of Sertel Electronics Private Limited's in-house R&D unit through 31 March 2029, validating our continued investment in indigenous design and development.

Scope of Certification: This recognition supports continued in-house design, development and engineering work under DSIR norms and strengthens our long-term product innovation roadmap.

SIDM Membership - Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers

Sertel Electronics Private Limited is a member of the Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM), bearing Membership No. SIDM-PM-2026-1408. SIDM is the apex industry body representing India’s private defence manufacturing sector, and our membership reflects Sertel's continued engagement with the Indian defence ecosystem and alignment with national priorities for indigenous manufacturing.
