Key Features

Designed for Reliable Weather Data Logging

A practical product foundation for critical infrastructure projects that need dependable hardware and engineering support.

Multi-Sensor Integration

A wide sensor mix connects directly to the logger: temperature and humidity, barometric pressure, wind speed and direction, rainfall, solar radiation, soil moisture, leaf wetness and evaporation. Analog inputs accept 0-20 mA, 0-5 V and 0-12 V signals, while SPI, I2C, UART and GPIO handle digital sensors.

High Resolution Acquisition

A 24-bit or better SAR ADC with accuracy within 1 LSB resolves the small signal changes that matter in meteorology. The logger sustains a minimum 1-second sampling interval across every connected sensor simultaneously without data loss, and scans at up to 1000 Hz or higher when the application calls for it.

Non-Volatile Memory

A minimum of 64 MB of non volatile memory holds data and program storage and is expandable to client requirement. Records survive power interruptions intact, and a removable storage provision supports 32 GB or more for bulk offload during site visits.

Precise Timestamping

A high accuracy real time clock holds drift to within 1 minute per year or better, with provision for GPS or NTP synchronisation. Every record carries a dependable timestamp, which is what makes time series analysis, multi station comparison and regulatory reporting defensible.

How the Data Logger Handles Your Field Data

Sertel supports the project lifecycle from product selection and configuration through installation and long-term service.

01

Connect Sensors

Connect the sensors and communication modules required for the station.

02

Acquire and Timestamp

Read sensor inputs at the configured interval and attach a time reference to each observation.

03

Store Records

Retain measurements in non-volatile memory for later retrieval.

04

Transmit Data

Send records to the central monitoring system using the configured telemetry link.

Compatible Sensor Suite

The T-AWS-DL-300 is compatible with the full Sertel automatic weather station sensor suite. Each sensor can be selected individually and integrated with the data logger, so the station matches the measurement brief rather than a fixed catalogue configuration.

Temperature and Humidity Sensor

Measures ambient air temperature and relative humidity with high accuracy. Sensing elements sit inside a weatherproof, anti UV radiation shield that protects against direct sunlight and precipitation. Available in analogue and digital output formats.

Barometric Air Pressure Sensor

Measures absolute atmospheric pressure at the installation point for meteorological monitoring, altitude determination and forecasting. Delivers stable, low drift readings over long deployments with digital and analogue output.

Rainfall Sensor

A tipping bucket mechanism generates a pulse output with each calibrated tip. Collector and bucket are corrosion resistant and weatherproof, with a UV stabilised tipping mechanism on precision steel bearings. An integrated wire mesh debris filter prevents clogging during heavy rainfall.

Global Radiation Sensor

Converts incident solar irradiance into a calibrated electrical signal across visible and near infrared wavelengths with a full hemispherical field of view. Fast response and minimal long term drift suit solar resource assessment and agro meteorological work.

Soil Moisture Sensor

An FDR type sensor measuring volumetric soil moisture content with instantaneous response, for surface or buried installation. The stainless steel probe is sealed in epoxy resin for stability in continuous soil contact.

Leaf Wetness Sensor

Measures the presence and duration of moisture on leaf surfaces, detecting dew formation, rainfall events and drying cycles for crop disease modelling and irrigation management. Rapid response with low temperature drift.

Ultrasonic Wind Speed and Direction Sensor

Ultrasonic time of flight measurement across the full compass range. A solid state design with no moving parts removes mechanical wear, which suits remote and demanding sites.

Cup Anemometer and Wind Vane

A three cup anemometer and vane assembly for mechanical wind measurement, with a low startup threshold for accuracy at very low wind speeds. Optional integrated heating prevents icing in cold climates.
