Sertel

The Sertel Philosophy: Our Values and Principles

Engineering With Purpose

Sertel Electronics exists to manufacture industrial automation products that are cost effective, reliable and built to run for years, not just to pass an acceptance test. That single aim has guided product decisions since the company's earliest days in Chennai.

Our ambition is to lead in the verticals we have chosen deliberately: time synchronisation, automation, boiler instrumentation, solar and meteorology. We would rather be the trusted name in a handful of demanding sectors than a generic supplier to everyone.

We reinvest 10 to 15 percent of annual turnover into R&D every year, because the products our customers will depend on next year do not exist yet. That discipline, more than any single certificate, is what sustainability means at Sertel.

Our manufacturing is ISO 9001 certified, our R&D centre carries DSIR approval from India's Ministry of Science and Technology, and our equipment is POWERGRID approved and IEC 61010-1 compliant.
