FO Converter
The T-300-FO/RS485 FO Converter converts RS-485 electrical signals to optical signals for transmission over fiber optic cable, and converts optical signals back to electrical signals. It performs this conversion without altering the communication protocol. This converter allows industrial serial networks to reach long distances, operate in areas with electrical interference, and function in hazardous locations where copper wiring is unsuitable. Built-in optical diagnostics continuously monitor each fiber optic path.
