The Sertel SEPL9300-LPI-05 Loop Powered DC Current Isolator separates a 4-20 mA current signal from any two-wire process transmitter before it reaches a PLC, data logger or DCS. It draws operating power directly from the current loop, needs no external supply, removes ground-loop interference and simplifies signal interfacing across the plant.

Opto-Isolator Based Design
Built around an opto-isolator, the SEPL9300-LPI-05 provides reliable galvanic separation between the input and output signal paths, so the transmitter loop and the receiving system never share a direct electrical connection.
Loop-Powered Operation
The isolator draws its operating power from the 4–20 mA current loop it is isolating. There is no separate power supply to specify, wire or maintain, and one less component in the panel that can fail.
1:1 Current Transfer Ratio
Input current is passed through to the output at a 1:1 ratio across the full 4–20 mA DC range, with a current transfer accuracy of 0.5% of span and a temperature coefficient of 0.03% of span per °C.
Ground Loop Interference Elimination
By breaking the direct electrical path between transmitter and receiving system while faithfully reproducing the 4–20 mA signal, the SEPL9300-LPI-05 removes a common source of measurement error and shields connected equipment from ground potential differences.
Reverse Polarity Protection
Built-in reverse polarity protection on the current input safeguards the isolator, and the equipment behind it, against wiring mistakes made during installation or field servicing.
DIN Rail Mount with Solderless Terminals
Housed in a compact 114 × 100 × 23 mm DIN rail enclosure with safe, solderless screw terminals, the isolator mounts directly into standard control panel layouts and wires in without soldering.
