Multi-Frequency GNSS Receiver (MF-GNSS-300) for Precision Positioning and Timing

Compact, Multi-Constellation GNSS Receiver Built for Mission-Critical Timing

The MF-GNSS-300 is a multi-frequency, multi-constellation GNSS receiver designed for high-precision positioning and timing in demanding industrial environments. It simultaneously tracks GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou and IRNSS, also known as NavIC, on 200 or more channels, achieving 5 metres or better 3D RMS accuracy with sub-second re-acquisition. A 0.1 ppb Rubidium oscillator maintains Stratum-0 holdover when satellite signals are unavailable, making it a dependable choice for power, telecom, defence, broadcast and railway systems.

Centimetre-level accuracy, 5 m or better 3D RMS open sky
0.1 ppb Rubidium oscillator, Stratum-0 holdover
1PPS and 10 MHz frequency reference output
200 or more channels, simultaneous satellite tracking
RS232, USB and Ethernet interfaces
FCC, CE and RoHS certified. IP65/IP67 rated

Key Features

Built for Uninterrupted Precision Timing

Six core capabilities keep your positioning and timing infrastructure accurate, resilient and easy to integrate, from substations to signalling rooms.

Multi-GNSS Tracking

200+ channels across GPS L1/L2/L5, GLONASS L1/L2/L3, Galileo E1/E5/E6, BeiDou B1/B2/B3 and IRNSS L5/S.

Centimetre Accuracy

5 m or better 3D RMS open sky, with multipath mitigation on both antenna and baseband processing sides.

Rubidium Holdover

Stratum-0 frequency reference at 0.1 ppb stability, keeps your timing alive when GNSS drops.

RAIM Integrity

Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring flags faulty satellite measurements in real time.

Hardened and Compact

170 x 160 x 35 mm, 1.5 kg, IP65/IP67, minus 40C to plus 85C operating, 18,000 m altitude rated.

Future-Proof Channels

Software-upgradeable for new GNSS signals, no hardware swap needed as constellations modernise.

Matching the GNSS Receiver (MF-GNSS-300) to Your Deployment

The same receiver core supports three common deployment patterns. Choose the configuration that fits your site.

01

Standalone Timing Reference

For a single substation, tower site or lab. One MF-GNSS-300 feeds 1PPS and 10 MHz directly to a local device over RS232, USB or Ethernet. Fastest to commission, with the lowest cabling overhead.

02

Networked Multi-Site Reference

For campuses and multi-building facilities. The MF-GNSS-300 output distributes over Ethernet to NTP or PTP servers and multiple downstream clocks, keeping every site on one traceable time source.

03

High-Availability Redundant Pair

For mission-critical rooms where holdover cannot lapse. Two MF-GNSS-300 units run in parallel, each holding Stratum-0 through its own Rubidium oscillator, so a fault on one unit never breaks synchronisation.

Where precision timing matters

One Fix, Five Critical Industries

A single position-time packet leaves the satellite constellation, locks into the MF-GNSS-300, and fans out continuously to the systems that depend on it.

Smart Grid and Power

Sub-microsecond time-tagging

Precise time-tagging keeps phasor measurement units aligned across substations for accurate fault location.

From Orbit to Output: How the GNSS Receiver (MF-GNSS-300) Delivers Timing

A live position, velocity, and time packet travels from the satellite constellation to your infrastructure. The system tracks five constellations and uses a Rubidium oscillator for discipline. Data is distributed through Serial, USB, and Ethernet connections.

  1. 01Receive

200+ channel lock on GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou and IRNSS. Cold start under 60 seconds, re-acquisition under 1 second.

  2. 02Discipline

The 0.1 ppb Rubidium oscillator disciplines raw GNSS time to a stable Stratum-0 reference and holds over through signal outages.

  3. 03Distribute

1PPS pulse, 10 MHz reference and NMEA/RINEX data are distributed simultaneously over RS232, USB and Ethernet.
